Butterfly Return

Every year I look forward to my buddleia being in bloom and being visited by local butterflies. This year, the start of its flowering season coincided with some very autumnal weather, and a distinct lack of butterflies. Today, however, was a mild and calm day, and a few butterflies were fluttering around, including this gorgeous peacock butterfly, splendidly displaying its markings.
