Wild Rose

Around the corner from our house is a field/meadow that Bertie and I often walk through. As you climb up the hill there is a small collection of trees and shrubs that until the 30's or 40's was the site of a small hamlet. As we walked by today the scene was amazing and I really don't think this photo does it justice! Climbing up through the trees is this gorgeous deep pink rose, I can only assume it is left over from when there were cottages here.
