His first guitar

This is detail of a '64 Fender that he's had since '85. He still plays it and says it's his favorite. Aaccording to him, as successful and talented as he is, this guitar has always been better than he is.
I was lucky to get him to sit still long enough for me to shoot it while he was taking a short break from playing it as we lay in bed.
