The extra is my beloved ancient Birkenstocks which came back from the menders today. I live in these. Every few years I send them back to be rebuilt - cheaper than getting new ones. They're like the proverbial garden rake with three new heads and four new handles. Only the straps are original.

My car is still in the garage. They found something expensive that needs doing.   :-(
