Rural Idyll

I think I could live here. Don't know what type of animal this row of buildings was built for (see extra pics) They're too low for horses (and there are fantastic stables and carriage houses elsewhere in the grounds) and each bay is separated inside so probably not cattle, bit posh for pigs. Rough cobbles on the floors, windows at the back. These buildings are at Barrington Court in Dorset, a Tudor Manor built between 1538 and the late 1550's. After 1745 it became a tennanted farm and deer park. Wolf Hall was filmed here. but as that was filmed in almost permanent total darkness you probably wouldn't recognise it full of sunshine. If you're in the area it's well worth a visit. It is now owned by the National Trust.
