Bamburgh Castle

Another bookkeeping day...

Downed tools late afternoon to pack the picnic hamper with goodies ready to head off for Bamburgh, where MrM was playing bass with Swing Street at BFest, in the castle grounds. The event was organised as a fund-raiser by Hospice Care North Northumberland. The weather behaved itself (we didn't need the umbrella) and a good time was had by all. An excellent evening in a fabulous setting! We were even treated to brief glimpses of the 'blue moon' when the clouds parted.

At night Bamburgh Castle is floodlit, and looks quite spectacular.
