Dead Calm

A beautiful morning on our last day in France as MrsB and I strolled around Roscoff after breakfast in the hotel booked for our last night. Sod's law the weather has finally settled down to some permanent decent sunshine and winds have dropped, but we are feeling relaxed and happy and looking forward to getting home and Jay.

This was the view north to a fleet of becalmed catamarans as we walked along the pier to where a ferry shuttles day trippers to the Ile de Batz just offshore.

However, we had to skip this delight as we have our own ferry to catch this afternoon (to Plymouth), as well a shopping list to fulfil beforehand including wholesale wine, Breton onions, apple brandy and artichokes.
