Bull Ring

Spent a couple of hours this morning exploring the centre of Birmingham. Lots of building work going on - a new shopping centre and a tramway was our best guess. The city centre is a real mixture of new buildings , some grand turn of the century old buildings and some horrible 70s and 80s developments. Much like the Granite City I suppose. The most famous shopping area is the Bull Ring which has had a major makeover since I was last here in around 1982.
