Pas de Chevres

Another fantastic big day today, I was very very torn as to which photo to blip, the amazing views along Lac Dix, the chamois at the Col des Roux or the spectacular lateral morrain ridge we walked, but in the end the first distant glimpse of our destination, the magnificent Matterhorn, won. Especially as it is glimpsed from atop the infamous Pas de Chevres and the ladders which excite, worry and challenge clients in equal measure.
Most of the gang were fine (well mostly they're just super relieved we're getting off the constantly moving horror scree of the Col de Reidmatten and onto solid ground lol), but a couple needed a rope and a reasurring ladder based hug. Well worth it for the collection of high fives, OMG's and grinning faces at the top.

Then just the small matter of the (seemingly) endless descent to Arolla and an ice cold panache at (another) Hotel du Glacier.
