My Birthday.

My friends invited me on a 'mystery walk'. Turn up at Waverley Station with a packed lunch and my walking shoes on and I would find out where we were going when we got there. 

There was Gosford House and grounds. We got the train to Longniddry and walked up to the house and round the grounds, then on to North Berwick. 

Highlights of the day were a buzzard, and bright blue damsel flies. A field path of magical wild flowers and butterflies. Tea and cake in Falko's. A walk along the beach in brilliant sunshine. Rounded off by fish and chips in North Berwick. 

A long an tiring day. 

Off to bed for me.
