Sweeping the chimney and Rayburn

Every now and then I need to sweep the Rayburn chimney and remove soot from inside the Rayburn. We have had the Rayburn a few times recently as it's been chilly - though it's often not on much in the summer.

The same rods were in use yesterday as we had to clear a blockage in the drains at the junction into the septic tank - not a very pleasant task.
