Underground.....

*backblipped*

Our first night in the tent passed without incident.

Three very excited children awoke at 7, ready for the day.

After an al fresco breakfast (so glad we brought some Mr Eion coffee with us) we headed off to find Dan-Yr - Ogof, the National Showcaves Centre for Wales.  We hadn't told the SBG where we were going, and when they were met by a 15 foot diplodocus at the entrance to the Centre, I did wonder if we were going to make it in or not!

The centre has over 200 dinosaurs scattered throughout the hills, a Shire horse and farm area, a gold panning area and 3 amazing caves to explore.

It's amazing to think that this one, Dan-Yr -Ogof, was only discovered in 1912.

The kids loved the caves, but especially the dinosaurs....a favourite being the 'saver tooth tiger' that they spotted!

A full day here, then back to the tent for a BBQ, followed by toasted giant marshmallows.......with hindsight, the marshmallows before bed were possibly a bad idea......
