The Pink Tent.

A view of the famous big pink tent of the National Welsh Eisteddfod that this year was at Meifod here in the Welsh Borders. I manned a tent for the National Trust on Saturday as a volunteer and gofor.  It' s an event of Welsh culture of all kinds- song, poetry and craft, on for the week- yesterday was quiet, and the blue sky in the shot is the only flash of blue we saw- down came the rain on several occasions, I hope things improve for the rest of the week, as large crowds are hoped for.
