to Do One's Bit (3)

Beach Buddies, the beach cleaning charity that I support, had a meeting at Ballaugh Beach this morning.

The shore line was remarkably clear of rubbish and this is very pleasing.  Mind you, all it takes is a good Irish Sea gale and the situation would be back to normal!

However it is thought that one reason for the good state of affairs is the placing of the large refuse container, seen here.  These are individually sponsored and I think this is a good plan.
