A face

in the bell tower (detached) of St Mary's Church at West Walton. The tower holds five bells and is unusual in being sited some distance from the church itself. It is quite old - built around 1240. I found four faces in it and chose the sternest looking one for this Sunday's blip.

A more cheerful but perhaps sardonic face is added as an extra.
