Favourite Loch

After breakfast sent the boys out to the park in the grounds of the hotel so I had a free rein to pack everything up.  Since the last holiday where I unpacked and packed 8 times I consider myself an expert packer (as long as everyone is out of my way), so within 20 mins we were ready to check out.  This hotel is ideal for families, kids are welcomed and treated well, not as second class citizens told to wheesht or sit and be quiet.  It's certainly not suitable for a quiet holiday, but it's perfect for us.

We drove the short distance to Loch an Eilean, to have a last cycle round.  It's such a beautiful loch with the castle in the middle, surrounded by the ancient pinewoods - a place of peacefulness and great beauty.  Ben decided he didn't want to cycle round the loch, he wanted to paddle and throw stones in the water and climb over the roots of the trees at the lochside.  No problem, we would take it in turns to cycle round with Cameron who was up for two turns.  Him and I had a nice chat as we rode round and then we had a little photoshoot with us all, the pictures I was so pleased with.

Stopped at the Cafe at the Rochiemurchas Centre for coffee and home baking finished off with their delicious ice cream.  Then it was time for the homeward journey down the A9.   Road was busy with no holdups though.

Had another brilliant holiday with the boys.  We do loads in the open air and have brought back some great memories.

Have added a couple of photos in extras
