Marco's House

Marco used to live in this house. He lived in it on his own. He was a big hairy man who laughed a lot. Many years ago he kept my 2CV on the road when I thought it was a goner. I remember him manhandling the engine out of the bonnet, single-handed. He was a strong big man who enjoyed a drink. Did I mention he liked to laugh? Marco was killed in a motorcycle accident. Whoever has bought his house is letting it go to wrack and ruin. I never pass it without thinking about him.
