Yorkshire Day

August the first is Yorkshire Day.

I was born and bred in Yorkshire.

I grew up and was schooled in the county.

Now I live in Norfolk. 

Still a Yorkshireman, a supporter of Yorkshire Cricket and Leeds United.

I have white roses in my garden and badges on my hat.

I live in Norfolk, I like Norfolk, it doesn't matter because you can take the man out of Yorkshire but you can never take Yorkshire out of the man.
