Oh, that's where the sun comes from...

Despite working the midnight to midday shift for a week and a half now, this is the first time I've actually seen dawn. 

It's been so busy that it seems you go into the back deck container (that passes for an office/control room) in the pitch black and emerge to bright sunshine (or pouring rain) sometime about 5.30am.

Today there was some kit that needed changing and so the ROV was on deck at 3.30am just as the sky was starting to lighten, giving this view back past Elgin B and the attendant Prospector 5 jack-up.
