Remembering

Another fascinating day of our Race, Reconciliation and Faith conference. Today we went to the Martin Luther King Jr Historic Site, and looked at various exhibitions, visited Ebenezer Baptist Church, which he co-pastored along with his father, and saw the home he grew up in. This photo shows some of our group getting their photos in his back garden. The house didn't have a staircase out the back or a disabled lift in MLK's day! Some really interesting discussions being had, and then a lovely dinner at Mary Mac's, which is an Atlanta institution. It felt very privileged to walk right past the long queue of people trying to get in!
