Looks gruesome ....

We took a very leisurely walk along the brilliant sandy beach from Seahouses towards Bamburgh.

I'd suggested to Katy she should come and shoot all the weird things that us disgusting humans chuck away ... that turn up at the high water mark. We thought this might make an interesting element for her photography homework. She declined to come ... opting for a lazy day. What a wonderful surprise ... we didn't encounter any discarded wellies, nylon rope, plastic bags ... etc etc. We did find some very odd seaweed though. This looks like some sort of odd surgery event ... sorry to anyone that is squeamish!
