Glad To Be Alive

It wasn't easy getting back into the car today but Mr E right and I needed to do it. He drove, although I'm not sure that helped because I felt very much out of control.
I have no finger nails left and my heart was pounding but I did it :-)

We went to Goodrich Castle near Ross on Wye. It's a fantastic Norman medieval castle with plenty of original features. Many of the structural changes that have taken place over the centuries are clearly visible and a free audio guide explains everything. I was also fascinated at just many House Martin nests there were too. It was a hive of activity.
