Swallow

Such a beautiful little bird and such a gorgeous sight to see & hear so many, musically twittering little birds, dancing in the sky. The Swallow here on this branch is taking a rare rest from his swooping and diving, catching insects on the wing. This little bird, has a red throat, glossy blue cap and body and white underparts, with the very distinctive long forked tail with streamers. I've never seen so many birds before & it's a glorious sight in the skies of Gloucestershire. Apparently these birds numbers have severely declined and it is sadly on Amber alert.
