Wareham's North Wall, view eastwards

Wareham's (West, North and East) walls offer a delightful walk, and are understandably frequented by many of the town's dog walkers.

The modern houses inside the wall here - to the right - are devoid of architectural merit, as might befit such an ancient town as Wareham, but are no doubt sought-after for their views northwards.

To the left is the North Mill, and behind it and a little bit more to the left is the North Bridge crossing the river Piddle.  This bridge is partly medieval and mainly 17th century.
