Big Buddha Pier

Took the boys to Ko Pha-ngan today.

Unfortunately when we go to the 'seaside', as JJ kept insisting it was called, there were signs all along the beach warning of deadly jellyfish.

A Thai Tourist had died there several days earlier, so we headed to a saltwater pool at a resort instead.

Had a great time in the pool, lot's of nibbles were consumed, and beer was drunk.

Then we decided to at least let the boys paddle in the water.

It was lovely and warm, and we only went in a little bit.

However it turns out that Mosquito bites and salt water is not a good combination for 3 or 7 year olds, with them both complaining of their legs stinging.

But another first in the bag for today.

First time either of them had actually been on a boat at sea!

In about 10 days time, they'll be on a ferry from Wales to Dublin!

Hopefully they'll travel as well on that, as they did on today's boat.
