Reflection

I popped over to the Portrait Gallery during my lunch break to see Paul Strands Tir a’Mhurain images from the Hebrides.
This shot is actually a reflection in a window of a woman who seemed to be transfixed by the photograph in front of her.
After I looked at the Strand work, I doubled back to look for myself and I was also struck by the power of the shot.
It's by "Rankin" and is a portrait of a woman from Edinburgh called Louise Page. It was created as part of a project called "Alive: in the face of death"
