The Lion's Mound

A day walking the Waterloo battlefield sites at Quatre Bras, Ligny and Mon St Jean. The 44 metre high Lion's Mound  was built between1820 and 1826 and marks the spot where the Prince of Orange was hit by a musket ball during the battle. The Mound provides a superb view of the entire battlefield.
