Flying the flag

With Barack Obama having just been declared the new President of the US you'd be mistaken for thinking I'd got my flags confused!

Actually, this has absolutely nothing to do with the US Presidential elections, nor indeed with the imminent New Zealand general election.

It's simply because I saw the flag flutttering in the breeze at school this morning and loved the brightness and contrasting colours of the whole image.

Now it's grey and raining though :(

Snow fell down south this morning.........and the Nelson ranges are due for a dumping tonight. It's November, for heaven's sake! We're supposed to be outside in shorts and tee-shirts enjoying the early summer sunshine! At this rate we probably have a better chance of a white Christmas than the northern hemisphere!!!
