Dipsacus ......

Dipsacus is a genus of flowering plant in the family Caprifoliaceae ... the members of this genus are known as teasel, teazel or teazle. The genus includes about 15 species of tall herbaceous biennial plants growing to 1-2.5 metres tall.
Well today I planned to take the picture of Rosebay Willowherb because it has been lovely this year and the flower head is made up of many tiny flowers but when you see swathes of it growing the colour is spectacular.
...it did not happen ....
am dog sitting these few days while my daughter is away and have been doing sleep overs at her house, but had to be home today for various things including the dentist :(
so today we have the teazel, tiny flower heads in a bulbus head, and they are tiny, when the bee takes the pollen the flower head comes out, it's facinating to watch....
for tinytuesday10

take care  :)
