St Louis Day 2 - The Great Mississippi

The Eads Bridge spans 6,442 feet (1,964 m) from the state of Illinois (left) to Missouri. Construction began in 1869 and was completed in 1874. Finding a "pretty" view of the Mississippi was pretty hard at least near St. Louis. I walked about a mile before I found this spot which was at the Dr Martin Luther King bridge looking south.

The Gateway Arch (far right) was constructed in 1965.
