Ein Weinberg

My walks take me through vineyards (Weinberge) and I like the lines and shadows.  Although one of the lines looks decidedly sparse.

It was another great walk and I took along a tub to pick some brambles.  Ended up with a very full tupperware.  I always follow the rule of only picking the fruit that grows high up - too near the ground and who knows what has gepinkelt* on them.

If you come with me tomorrow, I'll show you where the biggest and juiciest ones are to be found.  Actually, I'll just put that on the Blipmap and then you'll know.  I won't be surprised to find 50 of you swarming over them tomorrow. :-)

I can also show you the trees with the mirabelles and the damsons - if we do this, then no-one will die of scurvy.  There are also a few trees left with cherries - although the wasps are finding them REALLY attractive.

*the verb "pinkeln" means to piddle or pee, and gepinkelt is the past tense.  There are days when I think I would be a half decent German teacher.
