A Sly Fly Fish

Although I have only been back working two days since our French holiday, but a good weather forecast and a meeting-free diary resulted in an impetuous decision to hook-off fly fishing.

A friend Paddy rang as I was just about to start fishing the River Wharfe in Addingham and I told him not to tell anyone I was skiving-off. He tactfully reminded me I am self employed and a sole trader so who was I supposed to be hiding it from. He had a point.

Great day and five Brown Trout landed and released unharmed. Another five or so hooked but lost.

This was the first of these at 1.25 pounds in weight. Just after it was released my iPhone dropped in the river. This baptism doesn't seem to have affected it remarkably.
