60 years on!

Sixty years ago, Prince hauled his first passenger train on the newly reopened Ffestiniog Railway from Porthmadog Harbour. At that time it was a much shorter train and only was on a short trip across The Cob to Boston Lodge.

With a lot of development in the intervening years, including many carriages built and a new station layout at Porthmadog in 2014, Prince leaves Porthmadog, assisted by the single Fairlie Taliesin with a heavy train on the 10:10 service to Blaenau Ffestiniog.
