A Walk along the Johnshaven shore

Had lunch with my sister at the Anchor, Johnshaven. Johnshaven (North-East coast of Scotland) still works as a fishing village - mostly lobster.  We both had lobster soup. Afterwards we took a walk along the shore - the rocky way going and the grassy way coming back. I found a huge jellyfish - never see one as large, it must have been 18 inches across. The Cormorants were too far out to get good shots - even at full zoom on my Powershot SX60.  This disappointment was made up for when returning along the grassy way - the wild flowers were amazing. Lots of bees but only one butterfly that flew away rather fast at the sight of the camera! There were lots of bees around the thistles though - all fairly covered in pollen like the one here. The seedpod is the Wild Leek - I've only ever seen it at Johnshaven.
