pond dipping

We had 3 of the  grandchildren today as our 2 kids went for a bike ride together.
Mr Rat had them at the toddler group this morning (even though 2 are rather old for that), then it was café where I was in the kitchen and the afternoon was spent in the garden.
It was a fairly nice day and they were in the playhouse, running races, "diving" off the slide, long-jumping and then seeing if there was anything in the pond - I suspect the frogs had all taken refuge further away!
The wee one insisted on wearing his leprechaun hat nearly all day. Pics of them actually looking at me weren't very successful as they wouldn't stay still.
This evening, after dropping them off, it was a training session in the park with the running club on a beautiful evening.
