Culbin

When we are up in this part of the world, one of our favourite orienteering areas is the forested dunes of Culbin which are across the bay from Findhorn where we are staying this week.  I took a walk out to seal spot as the tide went out this evening and could hear them/see them on the sand spit in the distance.  My blip is taken from the dunes which protect the bay.  If you look closely you can see some oil rigs in the firth in the distance.

Today we were orienteering at Darnaway again and I enjoyed the forest more but still made a 12 minute error on one control so I'm bringing up the rear in the results again (93rd out of 138!)  Oh dear!

I love this place!
