Lucky Blue

I had just been to the local fruit farm to buy some raspberries for jam (£1 for a punnet of 600g !) when the heavens opened. Of course, I had taken my camera with me.

It stopped raining fairly quickly and I pulled over onto one of my favourite heathland spots to take some poppy photos. I had fun and was just about to get back into the car when I noticed a blue butterfly on the clover.

I think it's a Common Blue. It's gorgeous whatever it is. And she is beautiful in the larger version too.
