Black and white

The village of Mickleham isn't far from home but I don't believe I have ever stopped there before. See how blip is widening my world! The village is in the Mole Gap and is now bypassed by a sweeping dual carriageway. It is hard to imagine this old village road taking the mass of traffic of the A24. I explored the church this morning but the sun was in the wrong direction for a photo. Opposite the church is this group of buildings which includes the village shop and the pub.
I was on my way to Denbies Vineyard to meet friends for coffee. We talked for so long there was no time to explore the gift shop or browse the art exhibition up in the gallery. Another day.
