Another day #2...

... another castle - a double theme this holiday: lighthouses and castles - and beaches of course. Today's was Bamburgh Castle and a view of it the length of the beach that we walked, in sight of Seahouses before we turned back. Bailey and I had a bit of a paddle, although he was less keen than I was - and definitely more keen on the piece of dried kelp he found and we carried for him. A picnic on the green, still with a castle view before we headed back, ahead of a very dark cloud. And then fish and chips for five this evening - the proper end to a seaside holiday.
