Class Picture

Grainy photo :/ My teacher sent us this cute class photo we took at the hospital we visited. I'm hiding in the back, but I promise I was there! We visited Rigshospitalet which is one of the largest hospitals in Denmark. It's also highly specialized, which is unique in Denmark as most of the health care is taken care of by general practitioners who have to refer their patients to get specialized care. I wish we got to see more of the hospital, but we were given a presentation and by walking on the grounds it was clear that this place was huge. It had beautiful gardens as well which they said was part of their mission to create a therapeutic environment that was open to patients and the public.
