Persephone and The Sweet Prince

Hamlet at the Barbican in London. Just stunning - all of it. It's still in preview but it was breathtaking - Benedict Cumberbatch is sensational, Sian Brooke as Ophelia is exquisite and the whole thing just has a wow-factor that takes it well beyond any hype and into something truly special and beautiful. That Shakespeare fella knew a thing or two didn't he?

Earlier in the day finally made it along to the fabulous Persephone Books - who specialise in publishing their own gorgeous imprints of female writers from the early part of the last century. More beauty...
