Floor....

Terry and Leon laid the floor today....if it doesn't rain they will paint it also!

A long day in the mudroom, and a few customers.   I'm sometimes quite chatty with customers and so it was great fun when this guy in the showroom said he worked at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto:  

I said...Do you know Dave Willis?
He said: omg, yes, we work together sometimes!!! 
lots of surprise and laughter ensued and so he took some photos to send to Dave and i sent him back to Toronto with 2 new wine cups.   I have known Dave for about 25 years - he used to make clothing and we did the One of a Kind craft show, and others together.   We were great buddies back then, we've sort of lost touch, but hopefully this will get us back in touch!

Funny to think if i wasn't in a very chatty mood i would never have found this out!  i'm not always very chatty, sometimes i just let them look and talk a bit about pottery.
