Plane Tree Pods

Here are the last vestiges of Autumn.  I went out to snap some Sulphur Crested Cockatoos which were feeding on  the ground in our front paddock. I arrived, leaving my macro lens behind, to find all the birdlife had flown. I turned around and started looking for an alternative Blip and this is what I found. Still a reasonable macro, but had it not been so cold I could have walked back to the house for the extra lens. The warmth of home beckoned and won. My extra is a similar shot of the seeds against the sky. Almost a mono, and I do like the prickly silhouette.
