The letters in the post

Ar y postyn yn y ddaear o dan y gât sy'n arwain at y lawnt o flaen Prif Adeilad y Brifysgol yw llythrenau.  Dw i ddim yn gwybod beth maen nhw'n dweud. Mae 'P' yna, ac 'A' a 'N'... Ond dw i ddim yn gwybod os mae'n sillafu gair, a dw i ddim yn gwybod hanes y postyn chwaith. Mae'n ddirgelwch i mi. Dw i'n gobeithio bod un dydd bydda i'n ffeindio'r ateb.

On the post in the ground under the gate leading to the lawn in front of the University Main Building are letters. I do not know what they say. There's a 'P' there, 'A' and 'N' ... But I do not know if it spells a word, and I do not know the history of the post either. It's a mystery to me. I hope that one day I will find the answer.
