Teasels

These were once used to spin cloth. Fifty years ago my Dad who was a buyer of fine cloths for his company took me to a factory in Trowbridge who demonstrated this old craft. By then they had moved on to machines but the process was far from automated. The experience remains lodged firmly in my brain all this time later.
