East to Portnockie.

It was a nice day today so we headed east to where the good weather was, although it took forty minutes to get through Nairn because of roadworks. It normally takes two minutes to drive through. There were no warning signs in order to take a detour, so I and a lot of drivers were pretty frustrated. Apparently it has been going on for a week and likely to for a few weeks yet . However, when we got to Lossiemouth, we went to the 1629 restaurant and had a wonderful lunch. After lunch we headed for Portnockie to see the Bow Fiddle rock. I had only seen it in the evening, so it was nice to see it in good sunlight. It is a very impressive rock formation at the coast.
