Raspberry fields

Tried to fix a flat tyre in Lauri's bike in the morning. Couldn't, it was totally torn around the valve. So off to sports shop after lunch with the boys. As we had not visited the magnificent berry fields of Mahnala so far this summer, we drove there while we were on the move.

We had ice cream (in extra photo #1) in the café run by Yrjölä berry farm and admired the view. We drove back through small roads and stopped to see the famous pine of Timi (extra photo #2). It's estimated to be about 350 years old. Only one branch seems to be alive any more. But oh boy, it's huge!

PS. A bit of extra activity in the evening: One heifer had changed to where the grass is greener. The others had not taken the step yet, but I'm afraid we can't keep them in the current paddock until next weekend as I planned.
