The World Service

I had gone to meet Oscar from school.

A guy from the BBC stopped me on the high street. Our town was the most marginal Parliamentary seat in the country, (Conservative majority of 54). The town had been inundated with media people for the previous week.

We were invited in to speak at a live chat on the BBC World Service.

Both Oscar and I spoke to the world from a table at The Red Lion.

He was far more impressive than me in explaining why voting and democracy matters.
