Starlight

One starry flower of Allium christophii caught in a brief shaft of sunlight. We want lots of sunlight now we have solar panels on our roof. A green commitment or a good investment? Hopefully both. Time will tell.

A summer flowering bulb this onion makes a spectacular flower head, narrow petalled stars gradually extending to form an open globe up to 8 inches across.
