Giant Chess

After a morning of report writing and emails, Bryan and I went out to explore the parkland of Chisinau. We optimistically took swim stuff but although there was a large lake and several people bathing, we were not tempted by the green, smelly water and just enjoyed some peaceful reading time, photographing a woodpecker at his work and discovering this giant chess set in the trees bordering the lake. A nice relaxing day.
